Meet Natalie Eskew

Natalie Eskew is a woman in long-term recovery and has been working in the recovery field since 2020. Once the pandemic hit, she began to utilize the online training available. She is a Forensic Peer Mentor, Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist, and Certified Peer Specialist of Mental Health. She served her community for two years as an Accountability Court Team member. She was the proud recipient of The Judge's Award in 2021, where she was recognized for outstanding contributions to the recovery community. She also worked for her local community service board, Advantage Behavioral Health Systems, in their crisis unit. She continued to serve her peers in various ways and was ecstatic to join Walton Empowers earlier this summer. She has two young children whom she shares custody of and a vast support network of family and friends in recovery. She was featured last year on the podcast The Recovery Hour, where she went into depth about her passion for focusing on the family system and multiple ways to break the cycle of generational trauma and addiction that she is a proud survivor of. She is just getting started!
